Build your padel plan
Six questions. You get your level band, the racket shape that suits how you play, a monthly budget built on real Malaysian court rates, and the venues nearest you.
Most people starting padel in Malaysia get stuck on the same three things: what it will actually cost them per month, which racket to buy, and where to play. This works all three out at once, using the same court rates and level bands used across the rest of this site.

Question 6 of 6
What gear do you own?
What you get
- Your level band on the standard 1.0–7.0 scale, and the one habit to work on next.
- A racket shape recommendation — round, teardrop or diamond — with the reason.
- A monthly and annual budget based on how often you would realistically play and how many people you split a court with.
- A shortlist of venues in your state.
- A four-week starting plan with what to do in each session.
What happens to your email
The first part of your report appears immediately and needs no email at all. If you want the four-week plan and the venue shortlist sent to you as something you can keep, you can enter an email address — that is entirely optional, and the on-screen report stays complete either way.
If you do subscribe, your address is used to send the report and occasional updates when court prices shift or a guide changes. It is not sold or passed to third parties, and every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link. See the editorial standards page for the full position.
Common questions
How much will padel cost me per month in Malaysia?
For one session a week at a standard Klang Valley club court, split between four players, budget roughly RM130 to RM180 per month. Twice a week at peak times pushes that to RM280 to RM380. Off-peak weekday slots cut those figures by around 20 to 30 per cent.
What padel racket should I buy as a beginner?
A round-headed racket weighing around 350 to 365 grams with a soft or medium EVA core. Round rackets have a large central sweet spot and low balance, which makes off-centre hits far more forgiving. Expect RM250 to RM400 in Malaysia.
Is this report actually free?
Yes. The level band, racket recommendation and budget appear immediately with no email required. Providing an email is optional and only sends you a copy plus occasional updates.
